But we must ask–will he be permitted to call it Shochu, or will laws require him to label it as something else? (Scotch, to take an analogous case, can only be called Scotch if it is made in Scotland. Lift oup hte Glenlivet Distillery, plop it in Akron, Ohio, and the product made culd no longer be labled Scotch.)
