9/2007 IRONY PINOT NOIR MONTEREY COUNTY 2005
What a pleasant surprise! We happened upon this bottle while visiting with good people in East Hampton, New York. They ahd received this Californian wine from good friends. “Vinted and bottled by ‘Life’s Strange,'” this red wine is quite pleasing. It shows notes of leather and black plum. It’s a nice mix of the dry and fruity, and we quaffed it with pork loin, wasabi peas, broccoli, and more and it went down very well. (Rating ****)
