Video of Whiskey: A Global History Talk (New York City)

On March 5, 2011, Kevin R. Kosar had the pleasure of sitting with Andrew F. Smith, culinary historian extraordinaire, and leading a handsome crowd through a tasting of whiskeys. The Roger Smith Hotel was a splendid host, and chef Daniel Mowles prepared a terrific tasting menu that  paired grandly with the whiskeys we sipped.

The event was just on of the many Edible events being held at the Roger Smith Hotel that put the authors of the various Edible series books and readers in the same room with delicious drinks and eats.
