White Horse Blended Scotch Whisky

Some time back we raved over Bell’s Scotch whisky. We were thrilled that it was so tasty and so unbelievably inexpensive. We were bummed because we couldn’t find it in the U.S. (except in duty-free).

Once again, we struck gold. White Horse is a delicious blend. We served it to a diverse crowd of finicky drinkers and before the night ended the bottle was empty. Folks took it up, with water, and with ice. We enjoyed it up with just a trickle of H2O. It’s made with Lagavulin, a fabulous malt that gives White Horse a good spine, and mystery malts that give it a soft cocoa note. Imported by Shaw Ross International Importers to America, White Horse is a blend to buy by the case. (Rating ****).
