We were poking around the local Whole Foods Market and saw this brew at a reasonable price—$10 or so for a six pack.
When we saw that this brew was recommended by the inestimable Lew Bryson, well, we had to try it. And boy were we happy we did.
The hops are a delicious amalgam of bitter and citrusy, and the malt is very rich. Two bottles and your belly is sated, and quite probably your mouth will be grinning wide. (This beer is solid 6% ABV.)
Truly, this is a beer any big ale lover must try. (Rating ****3/4) You can read more about it at http://www.dogfish.com/brews-spirits/the-brews/year-round-brews/60-minute-ipa.htm.
