| Vina Alamosa Cabernet Sauvignon 1998
by Kevin R. Kosar This Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile
blew my mind. I have never nosed a wine that packed such a pungent,
delicious green pepper scent. Really, it was as if I had just sliced open
a fresh green bell pepper.
On the palate the green pepper note recedes a bit, allowing some blackberry to appear before finishing with
a vegetal-wood taste.
Quite impressive, and a real bargain
at $9-$10. Hurry and get some before this 1998 runs out. (Rating
