We first tried this red wine while vacationing in New York in August. While poking around for robust red wines at Pearson’s in Washington, DC, we spied Punto Final Malbec going for $12 and seized upon it. (Since w e bought it as part of a mixed case, we got 25% off—meaning this bottle cost only $9.)
Well, this is a robust red—everyone we have shared it with has loved it. It is fruit forward and has a leathery-earthy flavor. Yum. (Rating ****1/4)
