Hats off to Jason Wilson, who has written a very nice column on shochu, a Japanese distilled spirit, in the May 5, 2010 copy of the Washington Post.
The piece gives the novice an introduction to this “Japanese vodka” by describing what it is amde from, how it is made, how its tastes range, etc. It’s very informative.
