We got this bottle for $12 in pricey East Hampton, New York. It was satistfying eith a dinner of chicken, broccli, and potatoes. Was it spectacular? No. It was fine plonk that nosed of black cherry and mint. In the mouth it was light and a touch rustic (a bit of leather?). Generally, it struck us as a red to serve in either cold or warm weather and with just about any snacks. (Rating ***1/2)
